Confirmation
“For by the Sacrament of Confirmation, [the baptized] are more perfectly bound to the church and are enriched with a special strength of the Holy Spirit. Hence, they are, as true witnesses of Christ, more strictly obliged to spread and defend the faith by word and deed.” (LG 11; cf. Rite of Confirmation, Introduction 2)
The journey towards celebrating the Sacrament of Confirmation is a time for spiritual awakening and renewal! The call to live out the promises of our Baptism as adult disciples of Christ can come in many ways and through many different promptings. Answering the call means opening our hearts and our lives to the Lord, recognizing His Voice, and allowing the power of the Holy Spirit to guide us on life’s pathways.
